2. Have any of our modules changed?

We’ve worked as hard as we can to make well considered, well discussed decisions about the modules you’ll be studying.  For as much as possible, we’ve maintained the timetable you might have been expecting, but in certain situations, we’ve swapped modules between Trimester 3 and 4, where they are more suited to on-campus delivery, and where we hope to be able to resume normal activity in the new academic year.  To summarise, pathway by pathway…

Musicians will now study Improvisation instead of Advanced Bandskills (which has been moved to September). This change was made as latency issues mean that playing in ensembles is not so easy online.

Creative Artist modules have not changed.

Rap/MC will now study Advanced Technical Studies (Rap) instead of Creative Audio Technology. This was actually always the intention for Rap students, but does mark a change from your usual mirroring of the Creative Artist Pathway.

Production modules have not changed.

Tech Services will now study Live Event Management instead of Advanced Technical Stagecraft (which has been moved to September). This change was made as Advanced Technical Stagecraft is best taught in situ at a venue.

Business will now study Live Event Management instead of Marketing Strategies and Connected Communities (which has been moved to September). This is so you can study Live Event Management alongside the Tech Services students, who have complimentary skills to you in this area.
