ACM Student Songwriting Camps

The Student Songwriting Camps are a set of workshops created by ACM Degree students, designed to introduce the foundations of songwriting, giving you the opportunity to build and learn new skills and techniques whilst working to industry replicated briefs with the main focus being on exploring emotions.

This is an opportunity for you to work with current students, in order to develop your skills as a songwriter.

We will be performing a range of exercises to help you to build a foundation in songwriting, from writing toplines and lyrics for instrumentals or instrumentals for pre-written lyrics, following briefs based on emotions and experimenting with a range of genres you may have never worked with before.

This is also the perfect opportunity for you to meet your future cohorts in a fun and chill environment before you begin your studies in September. This is a first come first serve event, so if you’re interested please register ASAP! Looking forward to seeing you there!

Who is it for? The workshop is designed for anyone with an interest in songwriting, regardless of their chosen pathway.

What you will need? They will need to bring any instruments they can play (guitar, bass etc), a pen and paper and any DAW software if they are familiar with any.
