Four-piece Punk/rock band Drones (featuring ACM Production Degree Alumni Daly George and Business Degree Alumni Mitchell Thomas) will be recording at Maida Vale for Mike Davies on BBC Radio 1’s punk show on December 14th.
The band will be performing four songs on the show, which is to be broadcast in January 2013, three of which are from our debut album ‘Mutiny’ (Lockjaw Records) and their new single ‘Burnt Stitches’ which is being released and aired on the show November 14th three days before the group embark on a nine-date UK tour.
Hailing from Camberley, Drones formed because of their love for all that is loud, fast and melodic. With influences including Anti Flag, Gallows, Rancid, The Clash, Rise Against and The Distillers, Drones are well on their way to achieving their goal “to provide hysteria with socio-political tunes reminiscent of Anti-Flag, Strike Anywhere and Rise Against”.
