Here at ACM, we are proud to now offer a Rap and MC specialism to our Level 3 Extended Diploma in Music Performance and Production awarded by UAL. As is the case with our other Diploma Pathways, the Rap and MC Pathway is designed to give students a focused and holistic learning experience, providing the skills and knowledge necessary for continuing study at Higher Education level or building a career as an Artist. All ACM Diploma students are given access to a host of lectures, tutorials, workshops and masterclasses led by the same world-class music industry professionals that teach on our Higher Education programme offerings. The Rap and MC students studying on our Diploma course can expect four hours of tuition in this specialist area focussing on their technical skills and the fundamental elements of songcraft including lyrics, beat, wordplay, emotion and flow. A significant portion of the lectures are cross-pathway to encourage collaboration. The formative and summative projects are the same for all pathways and students are encouraged to collaborate with each other in the creation of the practical work. Further education study programmes at ACM Guildford are delivered as part of a sub-contract with East Surrey College, information about careers services at East Surrey College can be accessed on this link https://www.esc.ac.uk/careers-
