This term saw the start of the annual ACM Battle of the Bands competition at The Boileroom, Guildford. There were three heats in total, with loads of great bands performing and no shortage of opportunities to catch some great live tunes.

Audience voting on the night decided who went through to the final!

Heat One will feature (in no particular order):

  • The Desperate Measures // Facebook Page
  • Tat Supreme // Facebook Page
  • Little Grim // Facebook Page
  • The Bayonettes // Facebook Page

Little Grim were confirmed as winners of Heat One of ACM’s Battle of the Bands 2013 – Congratulations!

More About ACM’s Battle of the Bands

Hosted by our friends at Guildford’s Boileroom, each of the three heats will aim to whittle down our entrants to form our Battle of the Bands finalists. Over 80 bands entered 2012’s competition, which was eventually won by Tin Palace and 2013’s competition looks set to be another enthralling battle.

Winners of each of the heats, which are decided by public crowd votes, will progress to the competition final on 12th June. So whether you enter you band or are just a fan, come down to hear some new music and vote for your favourites.

Important dates for your ACM diary:

  • 1st May – Heat 1
  • 22nd May – Heat 2
  • 29th May – Heat 3
