We are KOMO, an unconventional duo from Basingstoke, UK consisting of singer/songwriter Amy Larcombe and producer Bryan Turner. KOMO is derived from a Japanese word meaning, “light that shines through trees” fitting our beautiful sadness aesthetic.
Amy sings about the pushes and pulls of life, growing up as a millennial and the transient nature of things. Her vocals are set against chilled electro or EDM beats, synthesised weirdness and bits of guitar.
Our main influences are contemporary K pop, Ha Hyunsang, Zara Larsson, Bea Miller and Bloo.
