Singer / Songwriter » Soul

CHAR (Charlotte Peck) is a Soul & RnB singer/songwriter from Suffolk, born in 1997.

‘Char’ has a powerful, expressive and soulful voice. She exposes her vocal ability, vocal acrobats and complex melisma’s whenever she sings, along with a bold and free performance style.

As ‘Char’ is a soul artist, she wants to create an authentic album with raw and honest lyrics, how soul music was originally created.
She wants to embrace her most significant events, moments and emotions throughout her teenage/young adult life, whether it be death, love or pain and express them through her music.

She has been working on her first album for around 2 years and expects it to be ready for release in late 2017, early 2018, where it will include illustrations/font designs created by her sister Hannah Peck; A Fashion illustrator and designer.

Alongside writing her album, she is gigging around the UK with a guitarist from ACM, performing her version of songs she relates to, creating a fan base. The songs she cover include her biggest influences, such as; Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse, Fleetwood Mac, Joss Stone, Christina Aguilera, Jimi Hendrix, Jessie J, Screamin Jay Hawkins and Alicia Keys.

‘Char’ hopes to become successful in the music industry, bringing back an old genre, with a modern twist.

Charlotte is also in a Soul/RnB/Pop function band that gig at events around the UK.
