Rosie Johnstone ACM Alumna 2012

I was on the Vocal Performance and Artistic Development course. Our PR and Branding tutor also worked in the business school and encouraged me to have a business back up plan and learn a trade. She encouraged me to follow a career in PR and after graduating I joined the music PR company she worked for called Impressive PR, initially as an intern, but she fast tracked me as her assistant publicist and I worked with an amazing set of clients, from 60’s singer Sandie Shaw to 90’s boyband Blue. After 18 months, she introduced me to the director of top boutique consumer brand PR agency Splendidcomms, where I now work on the music activation for brands such as Jack Daniel’s and Tesco. The massive variation in my line of work means no day is ever the same.
