I found the information I learned from ACM’S Music Business, Certificate in Higher Education, course along with the contacts I developed invaluable in starting my career in Entertainment PR. Through on going support from the team at ACM I secured my ‘dream job’ working in one of the most recognized entertainment PR companies in the entertainment industry Alison Peters PR.
On a day-to-day basis I worked closely with some of the biggest names on TV, organising and briefing them ahead of interviews with a variety of media outlets including TV, radio, newspapers and online publications. This job has given me some amazing experiences; working backstage at major venues including The 02, Hammersmith Apollo etc, evenings in PR and green rooms alongside A-List celebs, working alongside major companies such as Universal Pictures (UK), organising and overseeing DVD and book signings, arranging media schedules for national tours and much more. I have had the opportunity to meet some fascinating people whilst working in the entertainment industry and everyday is as exciting and challenging as the next.
