About Cellars
Cellars are a troubling prospect for their dormant Southgate home. Formed by brothers Gabriel and Dan Levy, the band disturbs the deathly quiet of their North London surroundings through their brooding and otherworldly sound. They released their first demo ‘Night Until Noon’, a hazy mix of crooning vocals and eerie, bewitching guitar lines to praise from the likes of Little Indie Blogs, who hinted at the band’s creative scope, saying “judging by this one demo they could veer into dreampop or go right off the scale into a full rock out”.
Cellars cite everything from Pink Floyd to Queens Of The Stone Age as influences, funnelled through the fantasy world of Paul Stewart’s children’s novels and Dali’s surrealism. It’s a suburban wormhole.
