We are proud to announce that we have partnered with Birmingham’s answer to The Great Escape, Pivotal Music Conference.
Returning for its second year, on 27th September 2019 Pivotal Music Conference will take place in Jewellery Quarter which is also home to our newest campus, ACM Birmingham.
Run across a number of different venues over the course of the day, Pivotal will feature panels, workshops, networking opportunities, keynotes and showcases supported by executives, artists and professionals from the worlds of distribution, licensing, new technologies, PR, production, songwriting and management.
Priding ourselves on offering an immersive industry education where students learn by doing in the real-world, we are therefore thrilled that this year Pivotal will be offering several networking opportunities which including the well-received speed surgeries from last year.

Since ACM Birmingham was established we have always endeavoured to embrace and immerse ourselves within the local music industry on a creative and business basis. In my frequent visits to the city of Birmingham, I have realised that the city has its own microcosm of the music industry and does not have to rely on what is going on musically in London, Manchester or any other major city. I see the Pivotal Music Conference as the Midlands equivalent of The Great Escape event that will attract a whole host of influential and creative professionals and organisations from all over the world. Alongside the jam-packed day schedule, Pivotal’s evening will see artists and performers from a wide range of genres taking to the stage to showcase the best talent the Midlands and the wider music industry has to offer.
