Following visits to Brighton’s Great Escape Festival and Wales’ Beach Break Live, ACM was proud to return and support an event that remains very close to the school – Lowde Festival 2012.
Lowde Fest is an event to support The Lowde Music Trust, a charity dedicated to supporting students of music and creative performance bridge the gap between academia and the world of work.
During the one day festival which took place at Mulberry House, Hartley a plethora of singer songwriters and groups took to the main stage, including ACM’s Mellor and The General who both played 35 minute slots to the gathered crowd.
“Thanks so much to everyone at ACM who helped make Lowde Fest 2012 a massive success. Would like to make a special mention and thanks to all the back stage crew from ACM who were fantastic, and the two great bands that went down really well from ACM, The General and Mellor.”
Martin Lowde On ACM’s Involvement with Lowde Fest
Established in February 2011 following the sudden death of ACM Tutor Keith Lowde, The Lowde Music Trust was born to embody the passion Keith had to help and enable other people to achieve and realise their potential by supporting young entrepreneurs, promoting the power of education as well as offering one-to-one mentoring support.
ACM would like to say a massive thank you to The Lowde Music Trust for putting on Lowde Fest 2012 and we look forward to next years festival and future work alongside our friends.
