What a better way to kick off ACM’s week of Higher Diploma End of Year Showcase’s than with a Rock Night!

With 10 student bands, made up exclusively of ACM’s Higher Diploma students, on the Tuesday bill this was their chance to showcase the skills and performance prowess to parents, ACM Tutors and their course friends.

“Yesterdays Higher Diploma Showcase was the culmination of a whole years work for the bands that performed. It was a great demonstration of what you can achieve with hard work and dedication.”
Paul Geary – Head of Music Performance

2012’s HDip Rock Showcase was kicked off by Rage Against the Academy, Electric Dream Theatre, Duo, Sexual Chocolate, The Antidote and Tamsyn, while the evening session was rounded off by bands Eden Shadow, Some of Us Never Die, Daquiries and Angels Gate.

ACM would like to say a massive thank you to all the ACM Higher Diploma students who took part in the Rock Showcase and for all the hard work they and the ACM team has put in throughout their year.

All of ACM’s HDip The End of Year Showcases are taking place at Guildford’s Electric Theatre with each night focusing on a different musical genre including Jazz, Pop and Electronic Music.
