The National Health singers are a choir of health professionals formed by two junior doctors.

They started singing together just six short weeks ago and have already stormed the UK charts with their single “Yours”. The song was written by ACM vocal alumna Clare Dove, who since graduating has gone on to carve a career as a successful top line writer.

When The National Health Singers were formed they approached the founder of the ACM Gospel Choir, Mark De-Lisser, to lend his choral expertise to their project. Having sung as a member of ACMGC for the past five years, Mark enlisted Clare’s writing skills upon hearing that they wanted to release their own single.

The aim of the single is to bring together the public in support of the NHS, at a time when its very existence is currently being threatened. Clare took lyrical inspiration from the junior doctors in the choir themselves, and the way they feel under the current government situation.

Since its release the song has received mass support from British celebrities and the public themselves, seeing the song chart at number 24 on iTunes last week.

“Yours” by The National Health Singers is currently available to download from iTunes.
