Production MasterclassesIn addition to the lectures, lessons, one to one tutorials and extra-curricular classes we run throughout each term, we invite various musicians, music professionals and artists to come in and talk to our students. With each discipline benefiting from both subject specific events, such as lectures from renowned players, producers or managers, as well as cross discipline masterclasses from some of the top names in the world, students benefit from a wealth of experience and advise. It’s also a great opportunity to see some fantastic performances in an intimate setting!

Singer, songwriter and music producer Jez Ashurst offered his wisdom in a recent masterclass for music production students at ACM. Jez spoke about what it was like to be the frontman of independent indie rock act ‘Farrah‘, and his experiences working with the likes of Boyzone, Will Young, The Click, Five, Brian McFadden, Hanson and Cliff Richard as a producer and Engineer.

David and Jim aka Highway Stars came into ACM for a chat with music production students. Possibly one of the funniest clinics ACM has ever seen. Bert was pure entertainment from beginning to end, blending superior knowledge of his Yamaha equipment with a highly-charged and entertaining demonstration. Guest lecturer Chris Cozens came by ACM to share his extensive experience and expertise with our students.
