The ACM Bass Performance Diploma is a practical, industry-related course split into twelve course units, which include practical guitar performance lessons, in class discussions and group work and a final ‘end of year’ performance showcase – everything an ACM bass student needs to kick-start a career in the music business.
Over this 39 weeks (year long) performance diploma, ACM student will have the opportunity to get involved with a number of extra curricular activities – Pro Workshops – all geared to enhancing your playing abilities. There are also numerous industry opportunities supplied by our BDC team to help you find work as a musician.

As an ACM Bass Diploma student, you can expect to be taught by some of worlds most acclaimed professional bassists and musicians – see our current Bass Tutors – and have access to a range of professional guitar and performance facilities such as the Musicman Bass Studio.
Bass Diploma students are encouraged to form bands in order to develop their individual repertoire and their band skills, while carrying out self-evaluation throughout the year to further develop their bass skills.
Successful completion of ACM’s Performance Diploma will allow bass students the opportunity to progress onto further academic study including an ACM Higher Diploma course.
