Livelink
In 2010 / 2011, the BDC has promoted 'LiveLink' weekly at Guildford's premier live music venue 'The Boileroom' creating over 100 live opportunities. This allows ACM artists the opportunity to develop live skills, put on nights and begin to build a local following.
Check out the listings below to see who is playing Livelink this week. This is an open event. You are welcome to come along, support ACM artists and get a flavour of life at ACM.

The Great Escape
Europe's answer to SXSW and now Europe's largest new music festival held over 22 venues in Brighton saw ACM sponsoring its own venue, The Komedia. The event enabled 7 ACM bands and artists the opportunity to play alongside some of the worlds best new bands. The event also gave the opportunity for 40+ students to work behind the scenes of the festival and network with the world's music industry.
ACM were at The Great Escape on 13th May 2011.

Break Break Live
ACM is proud to partner the awesome Beach Break Live student-orientated music festival. ACM Presents is hosting and programming the second and infamous New Music Stage offering ACM artists and alumni over 20+ live slots over the three days - 16th-20th June 2011- in front of crowds of 500-1000+. A further 30 of the ACM Presents live tech crew also gained valuable experience assisting over the four main stages. Check out the website linked below for more information.

Battle of the Bands
We run this as part of the Livelink sessions over three live heats, with the audience voting for their favourite via voting slips. This leads to a live final of the heat winners.

ACM On Tour
Each year ACM head out on Tour; visiting schools, record shops and venues across the UK. You can catch up with what happened on the recent ACM Tour by checking out the link below. We'll be doing it all over again next year so get in touch if you want to see ACM at your school, shop or venue. See you on the road.

ACM Awards Ceremony
Each year ACM holds its prestigious Awards ceremony to congratulate students and honour the highest achievers from each discipline. Last year the Awards were held at the Indig02 and was ACM biggest Awards ceremony to date. A pick of the best bands from throughout the academic year are invited to play at the Awards in front of record company execs, A&R and their graduating year.
