Ian Forshew, Founder and Organiser of Break Break Live
Suzi Ireland
Business and Artist Development Supervisor
I am the person responsible for auditions and all of ACM’s live activity as well as ACM’s Artist Development program. I like to attend gigs and festivals galore and am said to be highly opinionated about music - who knows if this is a good or bad thing!? With tastes stretching from krautrock, post punk and no wave through to chart pop and anything that makes me dance, I just ain’t fussy. Favourite albums include ‘Abbey Road’ by the Beatles, ‘R Rated’ by Queens of the Stone Age and ‘Easter’ by These Arms are Snakes... Come and make friends, ask advice or just chat about music. Get in touch! (Bring Jaffa Cakes).

Adam Simpson
Business and Artist Development
My role is to work closely with students studying Business, Production & CSD. I will be looking at ways to integrate you with the artists and producers here at ACM as well as sourcing opportunities for you to get involved with. Since graduating from the Business Degree in 2007 I have worked as a product manager for 1 Records World Wide and Worst Case Scenario Records. I have also ran and promoted my own nights around the South of England and worked along side the likes of Spill Magazine and the NME. I am into different types of music but I am more interested in finding new bands and artists that get me excited. I always struggle to say what my favourite album is, but I guess the albums I listen to the most are Verve ‘Urban Hymns’ and Dr Dre 2001. My guilty pleasure would have to be... any music by Will Smith! My current favourite biscuit would have to be Fox’s Extremely Chocolatey Cookie! Don’t be scared to come in and say hello.

Amy Field
Business and Artist Development
My main role in the Business & Artist Development Centre is to work closely with Tour Production & Management School. I am here to get you guys as many industry opportunities as possible whilst you’re studying. I have a lot of live event experience and have worked on some very big shows with some top artists. I have worked at ACM for 4 years now, firstly in the Marketing Department and now the BDC. I love live music and attending festivals as much as possible. I used to be an Executive Assistant in London so I’m extremely organised. If you’re putting on an event or need some advice then don’t hesitate to come and see me for some advice. I also deal with the ACM Schools network so there will be many events coming up throughout the year that I will want bands to get involved with. Favourite band of all time is Fleetwood Mac but I also love music ranging from Ska to dubstep anything that makes me want to dance really. So, come say hello and make friends! Bring Bourbons.

Mark Bounds
A&R Consultant
I’m an A&R consultant to ACM students working on artist development at all levels within the BDC, no matter what stage of development you think you are at. Even if you’ve not written your first lyrics yet and don’t know what artist you want to be, come in and have a natter and we can try and put you on the right path. I’ve worked with various major record labels, such as Sony and BMG in the UK, Europe, Australia and Japan, and worked closely with a lot of major dance artists and DJs as well as numerous guitar bands. Whatever music you’re making, I’d love to hear it! Unless its Bulgarian folk music, I’m not a big fan of that.
