Tour Production and Management School - Introduction
So, you’re considering a career in Tour Production and Management? Well, you’ve come to the right place. Perhaps like me when you first got into music you where fascinated by the mythical figure of the roadie. The dark clad knight of all things technological, lurking in the shadowy blacks at the back of stage closely guarding the bands deepest secrets, waiting to pounce silently like a ninja with torch blazing and multi tool flailing at the first sign of the artist struggling! Or maybe you’re a more practical breed; you love your live music, and would like to know your way around a mixing desk, and are thinking ‘I could do this for a living’. So what now?
Quite simply put, this course has been designed with career opportunities in mind, whether you are looking to become a backline technician, on the front line of the tour, or the tour manager, commanding your troops to victory; the Tour Production and Management course at ACM, Guildford will give you the practical, and theoretical knowledge to start your career within the touring industry. With a shortage of qualified technicians, there has never been a better time to get qualified.
