We strongly value our students and wish to offer them the best possible opportunity to make the most of their time at ACM and to gain the most knowledge and experience as they train towards their career goals.

Therefore all students are given a priority offer for progression to the next level of study at ACM towards the end of the first term. Information events are run during the first term to allow students to find out more about the course content at the next level, and students are also welcome to contact their School Manager to discuss progression.

To continue in the same discipline they simply have to return the contract, along with a reduced deposit, and this secures them a place for the following year conditional on them passing the course and meeting the relevant criteria (as outlined in the Student Handbook). At this time students also have the opportunity to change to another discipline, for which they will need to submit an application form along with either a demo recording, via a live audition, or from a tutor recommendation.

Andy Williams, Marketing and Admissions Manager
Andy has been involved in the music industry since he was 15, and has worked as a professional dj for many years. Andy first became involved in ACM in 2000 while he was MD of the UK distribution company for Vestax. Andy joined ACM as Admissions & Marketing Manager in 2006. Since then he has helped improve the application process for prospective students, while also building closer links with schools and colleges across the UK. Andy has also worked closely with Government and private organisations such as Connexions and Education Business Partnerships.
