Helen Gammons – Music Business School Manager
MBA. Business Entrepreneurship. Manchester Business School. As well as being involved in ACM's music business courses, Helen’s work has over a period of 25 years covered senior directorships of major international music companies; such as the Avex Group working as part of the Management team alongside Tatsumi Yoda (described by the Times as the equivalent of Richard Branson in Japan) driving the company to flotation in 1997 and since regularly holding the No 1 market position.
Helen's fields of expertise includes international licensing, artist development, publishing, film music supervision, synchronisation, contract negotiation and drafting. Having represented successful writers and producers Internationally (Grammy writer/producer Hawk Wolinski "Ain't NoBody" - Rufus and Chaka Khan), Helen has worked with all Major labels, Publishers and Media organisations in various capacities continually throughout her career. Helen is Financial Director of Planet Audio Group who was a nominated finalist in the Coutts Bank 'Family Business of the Year' 2008. The release of Helen's book "The Art of Music Publishing" (an entrepreneurs guide) is released Autumn 2009.

Oli Sussat - Music Business Tutor
Oliver comes to us with a broad range of industry experience under his belt. After a three-year stint with international concert giant, Clear Channel Entertainment (now Live Nation), he himself became a student of the Music Business School here at ACM in 2003. After finishing his studies two years later, Oliver swapped concerts-for-grownups with concerts-for-kids when he formed FUNtastic!, a music-led brand for the children’s entertainment marketplace which has achieved music-product sales in excess of ½ million units, worldwide. Specialising in new routes-to-market and futurist strategies for product delivery, Oliver’s projects have been linked with the likes of the BBC, EMI Music Publishing and Universal Music Group. As well as forming part of the Business and Production School faculties at ACM, Oliver's time is split between FUNtastic! and CBeebies television presenter, Sid Sloane, whom he also manages. Oli brings a wealth of experience to student on our music business courses.
Keith Lowde - Music Business Tutor
Keith RD Lowde, FCA, has over 20 years experience working in the music industry at a senior level. For 11 years he was Company Secretary and deputy to the Managing Director at MCPS. Since then, Keith has worked with the PRS, BPI, BACS and Equity as well as other esteemed publishers, record labels, artists and TV companies. Keith went on to direct the National Music Festival for the Department of Culture, Media and Sport and more recently administered the Copyright Hotline - a specialised advisory service to those seeking help with copyright and piracy issues. Keith is also a tutor on ACM's music business courses.Chris Parles - Music Business Tutor
After graduating from the University of Westminster with a 1st class Degree in Commercial Music, Chris worked as an A&R Manager for 3 major record labels including Virgin, Mercury Records and Sony BMG; signing and working with artists such as Blue, Atomic Kitten, Robert Plant, Natalie Imbruglia and Lulu, as well as the BBC Fame Academy talent show. Chris is currently consulting for the Universal Music group and also co-owns an independent record label and artist management company. Brian Henry has been teaching at ACM on our music business courses for the last 7 years. He is also a freelance music business consultant working with both major and independent labels in artist development and management issues. Also an established producer and session player has written and played keyboards for various artists including: Donna Summer, Natalie Cole, Mica Paris, Gabriel, Mark Morrison and D'angelo to name a few.
Anthony Hall - Music Business Tutor
Anthony Hall is a dual qualified lawyer (11 years PQE English solicitor and admitted New York Attorney); and majority owner and managing director of Pure Mint Recordings Limited, an independent UK record label. Anthony was admitted as a solicitor at West End Media law-firm Schillings (Keith Schilling) in 1997 and admitted to the New York Bar in 2002. He has worked as in-house counsel for Carlton Television (1998-2000) and Chrysalis Television (2000-2002), before embarking on setting up Pure Mint in 2002 and establishing his own specialist media law consultancy (Entertainment Advice) in 2004. He also sits as an Independent member of the International Legal Committee of the IFPI.
Anthony is a musician and writer who released several records in the early 1990’s. He enjoys relaxing by reading, painting and composing at the piano. He can also be found at ACM on our music business courses.
